SMS Poem - 2 - Love and Desire

The garden of Love is in eternal bloom,
when its plants of Desire are duly watered!
When the plants begin yearning for water,
the garden starts to wither away!

இன்ப துன்பம்!

இன்பமான துன்பத்தை இன்பமென எண்ணித்தேடி
இன்முகத்துடன் ஏற்றுக் கலந்துறவாடித்
துன்பமான இன்பத்தைத் துன்பமெனத் தவிர்த்தால்
துன்பமேன் நேராது கூறு!

கல்வி

மெழுகு அறியுமோ உருகுவதன் பலனை?

மேகம் உணருமோ பொழிவதன் பயனை?

இயல்பால் நிகழுமிவை சொல்லும் பாடம்:
ஈகை சிந்திக்கா தென்பதே!

விதியும் வாழ்வும்!

கண்களுக்குள் எரியும்போதும் உறக்கந்துறந்து தொடரும்
உடல்முழுக்கக் கெஞ்சும்போதும் ஓய்வெடுக்க மறுக்கும்
கற்பனையில் பறக்கும்போது ஆற்றலுடன் விளங்கும்
உருவமற்ற மனமேநீ விதிப்பதுதான் எம்வாழ்வோ?

துன்பமும் பெருந்துன்பமும்!

ஏதாவதொரு வழிபிறக்காதா என்று தவித்துத் தேடும்போது
எதுவும் கிடைக்காமல் போவது துன்பமெனில்
ஏராளமாய் அடைந்த ஒன்றில் நிலைத்திட நினைக்கும்போது
எண்ணியதெல்லாம் கிடைக்கப் பெறுவது பெருந்துன்பமன்றோ?!

Astronomical Auscultations

To the twinkling stars - I tell a word,
You are dead altars - the truth appears weird!
Still you're adored by this dunces' old world:
As synonymous with the great Santa Claus' beard!

Oh! Mother Earth - Her feminine nature matches none:
Obviously, of these labyrinthine minds, She's just one!
Stars may give Her the melody of enchanting tone;
But will they ever cater to Her the peacock throne?

There's something to say on the milky Moon -
Would it become evergreen to enlighten the noon?
Hope says the boon will arrive very soon:
Before the speculations avalanche a mental typhoon!

Worldly wise people know what's that's real
Living closest star that grants all the fuel -
To run life on the globe in this trial
Method of life - the Sun which's the revival!

There the dawn's approaching - the night to end
When His omnipotent rays - come to mend
The irrational minds for their ignorance to descend
On that fine morning - She'll know the Legend!

Love, in romance, evolved to Marriage!

Marriage united lovers in Life's journey!
Marriage made relatives out of strangers;
Marriage made parents from couples;
Marriage meant happiness for the families!

Marriage transformed dreamers to achievers!
Marriage succeeded when spouses were friends;
Marriage glorified companionship for life;
Marriage, thereby, immortalized Love!
