புலராதோ நற்பொழுது?

அதிகாலை வேளையில் துயிலெழுந்ததும் முதல் வேலையாய் நுண்ணிய மென் சன்னல்களின் வழியே நெருப்பு நரியைப் பிடித்து அதன் முகநூலில் விழிக்கவில்லையெனில் புலராதோ நற்பொழுது நம் மக்களுக்கு?

பிறந்தநாள் நன்றிக் கவிதை!

கொள்ளும் தனிமையில் கடவுளைக் காண்பவர்!

தன்ரசிகரைத் தனிமை கொல்லாமல் காப்பவர் - 

அவர்தம் பிறந்தநாளன்று வாழ்த்துமின்றி வணக்கமுமின்றி 

எண்ணத்தால் நிறைகிறேன் - நன்றியை நவில!

A simple man who enjoys isolation but (through his great compositions) has saved millions of his fans of three generations from being isolated, was born on this day, sixty nine years ago! Celebrating his birthday in every possible way is a custom for some, means business for many but for us his fans, it is a calm genuine gesture of our heartfelt gratitude for him. May Ilaiyaraaja live amidst us to treat many more generations with his everflowing river of music!

இனிய கனவிலிருந்து துயில் முடிந்து எழுந்தபின் அக்கனவு உண்மையாகாதா என்று ஏங்கும் நோய்க்கு மருந்து, நாம் வாழும் வாழ்வே ஒரு கனவு தான் என்னும் உண்மையை உணர்வது தானோ?

எனக்குப் பிடித்த சட்டை

ஆடை அங்காடியில் விற்பனைக்கு வைத்திருந்த அத்தனை சட்டைகளையும் ஆராய்ந்து, நான்கைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, அவற்றில் எது பிடித்திருக்கிறது என்று சுட்டிக்காட்டச் சொன்னாள் என்னவள். 

நான் சுட்டினேன் - அவளை!
